KS3 Green Leaders Visit Sustainable Farm School

farmOn 16th November, four KS3 Green Leaders (Daisy Turner, 7F; Haleemah Bint-Sa’d; 8H, Eriyn Earnshaw, 9A and Rachel Staples, 9J) visited The Farm School in Kinsbourne Green with Miss O’Sullivan.
The day consisted of a variety of workshops and activities relating to ‘Sustainable Schools’ and provided the students with lots of inspiration for new ideas that Eco Council could take forward at STAGS. It was also a great opportunity to share some of the great work we have been doing at STAGS with other schools in the area.
Amongst other things the students learned about ways to reduce single use plastic, use less water and to bring outdoor learning into the every day curriculum. On returning to school the girls shared their new ideas with the rest of the Eco Council which were interesting and inspiring.
