STAGS Students Won the Junior Inter and Senior Girls Categories

 

STAGS junior inter

STAGS students entered the Inter District Swim in St Albans and won the Junior, Inter and Senior Girls categories. The following is the summary from Andrew Ellis, the Team Manager.

‘16 first places in individual races (out of 30 events), a number of which were under 1s outside the record: Emilia Dunwoodie in 50m Back Junior Girls, Isabel Harber in 50m Back Inter Girls, Caitlin Hartley in 50m Breast Junior Girls, George Loveman in 50m Breast Senior Boys, Arvin Joaquin Rodriguez in 50m Free Junior Boys, Thomas Cadenhead in 50m Free Inter Boys, Ellie Holliss in 50m Free Junior Girls, and Reese Housden in 50m Free Senior Boys

 
- 6 first places in the relays (out of 12 events), 1 of which was a record: Inter Girls Free (Billie Grant, Florie Geurts, Isabel Harber, Gemma Hanson), and one was very close to the record: Senior Boys Medley (Jamie Parson, Ralph Muncer, George Loveman, Rees Housden).

 
None of the relays St Albans District were lower than 3rd.
St Albans District winners of 4 out of the 6 age Groups: Junior Girls, Inter Girls, Senior Boys, and Senior Boys, with the Inter Boys only 3 points below winners Watford.
St Albans District winner of the overall points by 12 points to Watford.
