Huge congratulations to Year 13 student Phoebe Steer who ran in the London Marathon on 23 April and raised an amazing £800 for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Talented athlete Phoebe was one of the youngest runners at the event because she turned 18 on the 9th of April, just 12 days before the run. She ran the largely flat 42 Km course around the River Thames in an impressive 5 hours and 3 minutes. On completing the course Phoebe said, “I was very happy to cross the finishing line, but at the end everything that could hurt, did!”

Well done Phoebe, STAGS community is immensely proud of your fund raising and sporting achievements.
