Last week STAGS celebrated British Science Week with an array of activities led by the Science team. Students were able to take part in lunchtime activities such as 'Explosive Chemistry' and Dry Ice Experiments as well as a special STEM careers talk for Year 10 from Dr Gia Aradottir, an entomologist and agricultural scientist. We also held a Science Fair in the main hall on Friday in which students from Year 7 showcased the Science projects they had been working so hard on this term. The projects were incredible and students from all year groups had the chance to see them and vote for their favourites. Well done to all Year 7 students for their projects and especially to the finalists who produced the amazing entries seen at the Fair on Friday, one of which is shown here.
