Well done to Year 7 student Amelia Coleman in Form 7A, who represented STAGS with her horse Romeo at the NSEA arena eventing competition at Bury Farm on Saturday 10th February. From the first off talented horse and rider were determined to do their best to succeed. Amelia and Romeo were up against a total of 17 competitors in the 70-75cm class. All the hard work they put into training finally paid off when together they achieved an excellent clear round and come 4th in their class. After hearing the results, Amelia said ‘I was very pleased with my horse Romeo, who is only 5 years old, and to get placed in our first event with the STAGS Equestrian Team was amazing. We just missed out on qualifying for the championships sadly, but it was still a fabulous day out!’
