On Wednesday 26th September 2018, the STAGS Rugby Team was lucky enough to go to the Old Albanian RFC playing ground for a tournament. On arrival we saw Owen Farrell finishing off his training. The team consisted of Anisah Choudhuri, Izzy Harber, Lucy Heath, Eve Slater, Rebecca Adu-Poku, Gabriela McGlenn, Maisy Manson, Kacie Day and Tia Rees who all played exceptionally well, coached by the OA's coach, Craig. We thank Craig for coaching us and Mrs Pennock for the transport. We lost our first game to Roundwood, but learned from the mistakes we made in this game to go on to win all of our others. Each game we improved and showed more aggression in our tackles and a determination to win. We ended up 3rd place overall! Well done ladies!
