STAGS Equestrian Team Enjoy Success at First NSEA Competition of the Season

The Stags Equestrian Team had their first National School Equestrian association, (NSEA ) competition of the year at Bury Farm on Saturday 20th January. The enthusiastic team consisted of Year 8 student Olivia Taylor, Layla O’Boyle in Year 7 and Emily Ivory in Year 10. Despite adverse weather conditions all the talented riders performed well. Both Olivia and Layla both competed well in the 70 cm, against a huge class and stiff opposition. Emily competed with her pony Pepsi in the 80cm outdoor class against 58 other competitors. She had a very fast time, achieved a superb double clear round and was placed 4th overall. She said ‘I was so pleased with my pony’s start to the season, especially as she is a young pony with very little competition experience. I was just pipped and missed out qualifying for Hertfordshire but I was still very pleased!’

A great start to the season for all well done girls !tent for your news story here.
