WE Charity’s Walk for Water Day

On 27th April, it was WE Charity's Walk for Water Day, in which youth all around the world take part in sponsored walks with the aim to give 50,000 people clean water access for life. Many members of Year 10, and some Year 8s all participated by making posters and gaining sponsorship, and last Friday, (despite the pouring rain!) we completed a 3km walk through St Albans City Centre carrying 15l of water. Everyone's dedication, hard work and commitment really paid off, and we managed to raise over £300 for WE Charity, giving 20 people clean water access for life, in countries such as India. The impact clean water will make on 20 lives is huge, and everyone who was involved worked tirelessly to make this happen. Well done everyone!
