We are delighted that in July 2024 our Eco-Committee at STAGS have been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag, with Merit! We received some very positive feedback from the organisation that we'd like to share:

• “Your curriculum links come from a variety of year groups and subject areas, they’re good examples of innovative and engaging environmental education!”
• “Some of the schemes that caught our eye were recycling glasses, the thermal imaging camera that identified where heat was escaping from the building, and the remarkable results of the STAGS homerun”
• “STAGS Eco-Code clearly states the pledges of each class. Young people have had a voice, and are at the heart of environmental action, in your school”.
• “Throughout your application, you have consistently demonstrated a whole-school commitment to youth-led environmental action. As a result, we are delighted to recognise your brilliant work with an Eco-Schools’ Green Flag with Merit”.
