Anti-Bullying Week
This year’s Anti-Bullying Week has been both inspiring and action packed, centred around the empowering theme ‘Power for Good’. The week began with STAGS Talks encouraging students to reflect on the positive influence they can have within our community, followed by a bespoke training workshop delivered by the Sixth Form Leaders for Anti-Bullying and the Wellbeing Ambassadors. Students then took part in the Anti-Bullying Student Conference hosted by The Adeyfield Academy, collaborating with peers from across the Trust in a day filled with creativity, teamwork, and thoughtful discussion about being active upstanders. Students described the event as ‘a great way to see how others learn about antibullying in our Trust schools’, ‘a chance to make new friends’, and ‘an opportunity to hear other people’s opinions and experiences’. The week concluded with the very popular Odd Socks Friday, where students and staff proudly celebrate individuality by showcasing their colourful socks on the lunchtime runway in the main hall.
