Attendance
At STAGS, our community is at its best when every student is here to share in it. Being in school every day isn't just about achieving great results - it's key to building confidence, staying connected and feeling supported. We look forward to welcoming our students through the door every single day.
Regular attendance and punctuality are vital for academic progress, social connection, and overall wellbeing. In line with Department for Education guidance (Working Together to Improve School Attendance), supporting good attendance is a shared partnership between the school, students and families.
Our school attendance target for all students is 96% - at least in line with national averages. Research shows that regular attendance helps students feel confident, stay on track with their learning and build strong friendships.
We monitor attendance closely and will reach out to offer support if your child’s attendance falls below 96%. If you notice your child becoming reluctant to attend school, please contact their Director of Learning or the Student Support Officer as early as possible so we can work together to help.
More information can be found in our Attendance Policy here.

Details on our school day can be found here.
Late Arrivals/ Leaving Early
