Friday 14 November 2025 Anti-Bullying Week This year's Anti-Bullying Week has been both inspiring and action packed, centred around the empowering theme ‘Power for Good'. The week began with STAGS Talks encouraging students to reflect on the positive influence they can have within our community, followed by a bespoke training workshop delivered by the Sixth Form Leaders for Anti-Bullying and the Wellbeing Ambassadors. Students then took part in the Anti-Bullying Student Conference hosted by The Adeyfield Academy, collaborating with peers from across the Trust in a day filled with creativity, teamwork, and thoughtful discussion about being active upstanders. Students described the event as ‘a great way to see how others learn about antibullying in our Trust schools', ‘a chance to make new friends', and ‘an opportunity to hear other people's opinions and experiences'. Monday 20 October 2025 Diwali Celebrations On Monday, as part of our Diwali celebrations, we welcomed students into the Main Hall to enjoy henna designs and purchase sweets and chocolates, with all proceeds being donated to Help Change Lives. The Aspens team created a delicious Diwali menu and students across all year groups joined in the event. A huge thank you to our Year 10-13 volunteers for helping to make the occasion such a joyous celebration, and to Miss Haria for planning and overseeing every element – including creating my henna, which looks amazing!

Monday 22 September 2025 Lexie in Year 11 has been awarded the Young Hero Award at the Making a Difference Awards We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that Lexie in Year 11 has been awarded the Young Hero Award at the Making a Difference Awards, hosted by BBC Three Counties Radio last night. This prestigious award recognises the extraordinary impact Lexie has made through her work providing over 500 chemo bags for patients in the community – an achievement we have proudly celebrated in earlier editions of STAGSLINK as well as at our own Awards Evening in July. To be nominated alongside such an inspiring group of young people was an outstanding accomplishment in itself, but to win the award is truly exceptional. We could not be prouder of Lexie and the difference she continues to make – she is an inspiration to the STAGS community and beyond! (See photos below)

Thursday 18 September 2025 Silver DofE Expedition Congratulations to our amazing Silver DofE students who successfully completed their Silver Expedition this past weekend! 👏All students completed a three day/two night expedition, where they walked in teams of 4, navigating their way along a pre-planned route through the countryside whilst carrying their kit, food, tents and cooking stoves in a rucksack (on average weighing 12-14 kg). They walked for approximately seven hours per day, cooking as a team and camping overnight. Their leadership, teamwork and perseverance were on show throughout. A huge well done to all students involved, and thank you to our staff who supported them along the way!
